The environment and recycling

We have always looked at ways of improving our recycling and sustainability of bronze and aluminium.  We have developed a simple and effective national closed loop recycling program that ensures all materials are recycled thereby working towards a circular economy.

In addition, our commitment to the environment also includes:

• Our bronze ingot is made from recycled metals.
• We recycle waste metals including cut off pieces from the raw castings.
• Our Furnaces are electric induction furnaces which are highly efficient.
• We recycle some 90% of our sand.
• We sell dross and other melt impurities to others who reclaim precious metals.
• Our emissions are controlled by fume and dust collectors.
• We report annually to National Pollutant Inventory (NPI).
